Jamie - The Nutritionist

Hi! My name is Jamie McDermott, and I am a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist. I received a M.S. in Foods and Nutrition from Marywood University and a B.A. in Psychology from Bates College. I’m also certified as a Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.).

In addition to focusing on nutrition and healthy eating, I base much of my teaching on behavior modification and its relationship to lasting, positive, nutritional changes. Because we all know the basics of healthy eating, its just thatlife gets in the way too often and we don’t know how to deal with it!

I’m so excited to be a part of this team and to help Chris increase his knowledge and self confidence about making healthy food choices. I have a great deal of faith in Chris and will be thrilled to see his progress over the next few months!
