Day 76: Painless Snow Removal, and another Notch (Hole) in the Belt.
Logging in on a Saturday for a couple of reasons. First, I was waiting to see if soreness from clearing the driveway on Thursday night would kick in or not. The snow was high, and somewhat heavy, so I was expecting problems. In previous years, I would feel it the next day. Not this time, though. No soreness at all.
Today has been fairly active. Clearing the path in the back yard and clearing the back half of the drive way was the hardest part. Also, the wife and kid have been out of town for more than a week, and I’d hate for them to see that I’d lost control of the place, so I’ve been cleaning the place up; laundry, dishes, changing beds, etc. Not to mention a quick run to the local Price Chopper in order to stock the fridge and cupboards with food they can eat.
Finally, looks like I have to punch another hole in my belt. I really need new jeans. They’re getting so baggy that they’re bunching up on the waist under the belt. I’m going to see if I can dig up some old pants that might have been boxed in hopes of one day fitting back into them.
Lots of ice coming down right now. Should last thru half of tomorrow. Either way, looking like tomorrow will be a pretty lackadaisical day all in all.
