Day 52: Last Workout This Week

Slow couple of days.  Its day 5 of my vacation, and the last day this vacation that I’m going to work out.  Mike wanted me to have more than a couple of days off to let me body rest and keep me from burning out.  With the gym closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving, and my normal schedule with Saturday and Sunday off, it seemed like a good time to enjoy 4 days off.

Now, I’m not going to go nuts on the food, but I might have access to a few items I don’t normally enjoy, such as Pecan Pie.  Hmmm ?!? :grin:

Yesterday, it snowed, and I couldn’t find the snow brush to clear off my car, then traffic was heavy and slow, so I was a bit late in getting to the pool.  I only had a half hour.  In that half hour tho, I came in just under a full mile.  I kicked my effort up as high as I could, but after strength training the day before, my arms were VERY sore.

Today was strength training again.  In all, pretty good.  I only failed on a couple of exercises, so I dropped Mike a note to have him look over the workout and determine if I should increase weights or repetitions, or both.

With that, I’ll see you all in 4 days on Monday.  I’ll be trying to keep my food journals, too.  And maybe I’ll be able to post this video I shot last Monday.  Either way, we’ll do my 2 month weigh-in, complete with push ups and body fat measurements.  Also, Mike MIGHT change up my workout, or he might wait a few more weeks.  We’ll see.
