33 Days and Counting…
[Brett] Chris, you’ve come a really long way in the past 33 days and it’s necessary for those of us who are supporting you to chime into the blog and let you know what a great job you’re doing.
I know you’ve been exhausted lately, but you’re in the middle of a entire life change and have bravely kept pushing forward. It’s very rewarding for all of your supporters to see how you’ve put your faith in us to keep you on the right track and your effort makes us all very proud! Just remember there’s so many more milestones along the way, and you’ve noticed some of the full-body changes already. Here are a few that you’ve mentioned to me so far:
- You can bend down to tie your shoes without being winded
- Now you fit into all those clothes in your closet that you had ‘outgrown’
- You’re consistently running 1 mile in 12 minutes (or less); and that’s AFTER you’ve worked out!
- You’ve happily punched a new hole in your belt
- You’ve gone from ‘constantly hungry’ to ‘too tired to eat’ (jk)
We’re all pulling for you Chris, people stop me in the halls EVERY DAY to ask how you’re doing, everyone’s response has been great and supportive. Keep up the great work!

Thanks!
Well, I’ve actually only gotten to that last tier of clothing, though. There are several more to go, and I’m kind looking forward to dusting off several items along the way, including a pair of zebra striped… well, never mind.
But I won’t be getting back into those until July, I’m sure.
Ask some of those folks in the hall to stop by the blog and just say “hi”!
