Day 157: Intranet Design & a Wrecked Schedule

Well, its coming down to the wire on our new Intranet design requirements, and we’ve been holding a marathon of meetings lately. In fact, today’s meetings totally disrupted my trip to the pool, so no go today.

Anyway, Friday I hit the pool and did a mile, then I did another 10 lengths before my time was up. My left shoulder was still sore, and so was my lower right back and side. I think it came from snow shoveling earlier in the week.

Saturday I skipped the gym, and instead spent an hour shoveling snow and then helped my daughter build a snow fort.

Sunday I’m off. Just sayin’.

Monday I weighed in at 264 lbs. and did my Monday workout. Its still my favorite workout in this series, and I’ve noticed that I have been getting stronger at it, though i still can’t complete it. As for my weight, its an interesting thing. I’ve maintained the same weight (give or take a pound) for about 7 weeks now. The good news is that I’ve balanced my calorie intake with my calorie burn. If I was 205 lbs, that would be GREAT news. However, I’m still at 264 lbs, so
this is a problem. I really don’t want to be racing this heavy, so I need to start dropping weight again. Which means a diet, I think. I’ll have to reduce my calorie intake again. Less that 4 months left.

Tomorrow I should be at the gym. Thursday is booked again. And I’ll be out of town Friday - Sunday, but I’ll be active, and the hotel may have a gym.
