Day 122: Swimming & Very Hungry

OK. Standard day. Brett is back, but he’s wiped from his ordeal in Aspen. I went swimming and covered about a mile.  I did a half mile swimming, then split a quarter mile with the kickboard and pull buoy, then finished off with another quarter mile swim.  All in all, I swam about 40 minutes. In my new swim trunks. Good shorts. Felt good to have on clothes that actually fit.

I had my standard Panera lunch, but after I was done, I was just plain hungry. So, I had a handful of trail mix.  Helped quite a bit. 2 hours later I had an Atkins bar since I was hungry again. 2 hours later I had dinner. 2 hours later I had a chicken strip. See the pattern? 2 hours later it was almost time for bed, so I had some tostitos w/ cheese.

Some days you’re just a bottomless pit.

I also found an interesting runner’s podcast called Phedippidations. You can find it on steverunner.com. It was alright. I think I’ll give it a chance and see if it doesn’t grow on me. The episode I listened to was 122, performance eating.  I didn’t choose it or anything, it just happened to be the one on queue when I grabbed it.
