Day 109: Back on Schedule?

Yesterday was swim day, but I had a meeting that went to noon, and then a quick emergency to take care of, so I got to the pool real late. I only had 15 minutes.  I had been very sore from Tuesday’s workout, so originally I had planned on doing an hour long nice, easy stretch swim.  With only 15 minutes, I decided to make it count and swam hard. 1/2 mile in 15 minutes. Intense, but I wish I had had more time.

Today I did the first strength routine again and feel like I’m back on track. Great workout. Feeling pretty good.  In fact, some days I don’t feel so great (too much stuff going on in life) but other days, like right now, I feel pretty great.

Now, its currently snow/icing outside.  If I have to snow shovel tomorrow, then I might not go in for the cardio.  We’ll see.

Also, the gym is closed Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. So, I suspect that next week will look almost identical to this week, with weigh-in and strength on Tuesday, rather than on Monday.
